Mr. Michael P. Holtz, President

 

Michael P. Holtz founded MPH Hotels, Inc. in 2003. This is a privately held company that develops, builds and manages hotels. Mr. Holtz is  the Former Chairman Of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of a publicly traded company listed on NASDAQ:NMS. He was elected to the Hospitality Hall of Fame in 1991 by Lodging Magazine. He founded, designed, developed and managed the AmeriHost Inn hotel brand from inception to nearly 125 hotels open. He has also developed and constructed over 150 hotels in 20 states, acquired, renovated and repositioned over 50 hotels. He grew a company from 2 employees to over 2,500 associates in 18 states. and was the president of a Top Ten fastest growing companies in Illinois by Crain's Chicago Business Review in 1996.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Alan Hardway, Vice President of Operations

 

Alan Hardway joined the company in November 2004 and has been in the hospitality business for the past 30 years.  Currently he is the Vice President of Hotel Operations for MPH Hotels Inc.  Starting his career in the Culinary business he found his passion in Hotel Restaurant Management at Paul Smith's College in upstate New York.  Working in various positions of the culinary and hotel industry, it has fueled his desire to create great memories and experiences for his guests who stay at his hotels.  Alan's primary goal is to ensure that his team delivers the best customer service, provides the cleanest rooms and employs the most friendly staffs.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Michael B. Holtz, Vice President of Development

 

Michael B. Holtz joined the company in May of 2009 to work as a project manager of an 86 room Comfort Suites.  For the next two years he worked every department in operations including his promotion to General Manger within one year of employment. After a brief hiatus from the hotel business for 18 months, he returned to work for MPH on November 2012 as Director of Purchasing.  With a versatile background in operations, purchasing, accounting, construction management, sale of hotels and development he has gained experience in almost every facet of the business.  In his 6 years with MPH, Michael B Holtz has built 7 hotels with 2 currently under construction.  He has also assisted in the sale of 4 hotels.  His main role in MPH currently is to expand the company with new development and handle all accounting of hotels under construction. 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Randy Gibbons, Vice President of Construction

 

Randy Gibbons joined MPH Hotels in October of 2014 as Vice President of Construction. Prior to joining our team he worked as the Director of Design and Construction for NJR Development, Choice Hotels International and General Manager of a regional Construction company in North Carolina. Some of his duties were overseeing the development and construction of a 250 room Hyatt  Resort, to oversee $250M in construction, as contractor and owner's representative.  The largest of the projects was management  of the pre-construction on Trump Tower of Tampa. Having over thirty years of hands-on construction management, there is no  element he hasn't mastered.

 

 

 

 

Ms. Jessica Neville, Regional Director of Operations

 

Jessica Neville joined the company in January of 2009 as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Lake Zurich IL.  Jessica came to us with over 15 years in the Hospitality Industry working for brands such as Courtyard by Marriott, Homewood Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Radisson and Hampton Inn.  She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors in Business and a specialization in Hospitality Management.  Four years after joining us as a General Manager, Jessica was promoted to Regional Director of Operations.  She has a strong passion and commitment to excellence with a goal to ensure that we surpass our competitors by operating the best hotel in the market, while ensuring the company‚Äôs financial, business and customer service objectives are achieved.
